As a kid, Jane Badler on V was very interesting to me, although at the time I didn't know why. Wasn't till I hit my mid teen years that it started to make sense. She was so evil.....mmmmmm.........so deliciously evil.........

As of now, Laura London has been on my mind. If it weren't for the fact that she had a kid by a troll, she'd be angelic in my eyes. She'd be worth getting DF'd over if not for the dude she had a kid with. Ughgh.....

Dollicia Bryant is serious business too. I'd be willing to lose a limb for her.

There's this new model making her rounds that I'd love to take a swim in, Kathy Ferreiro. I've never in my life seen a woman with a body like that. It's insane to the point I question whether or not much of it's real. She's literally built like a cartoon character, or something a comic book artist would draw. It's insane!!!

Between 1 and 2 is something I'm really interested in right now. They threw Russell under the bus according to the original thread on this subject. I'm wondering if they've even considered making the case that he didn't have a heavenly hope sort of like John the Baptist. If they were selected in 1919, then technically Rutherford was the FDS, then the baton was passed onto Knorr, and lastly to the GB upon their inception in 1971.

I'm under the impression that everything between 1-2 is all in limbo. It was already a subject that was "left up to Jehovah" as only He can read the hearts of those one who lived during that time frame consisting of 2000 years prior to Rutherford taking over the WT.

It just seems inconceivable that they would not put this information out to everyone all at once for something this big.

The problem might be your own perspective on this, and mine's too. What we consider "big" actually will not be that big of a deal to the average JW I'm thinking. "This Generation" was huge for some people, big enough that it caused some people to leave the organization, but they weren't even a blip on the radar compared to all the JWs who didn't notice the change, or didn't care about the change. I get the feeling this change with the FDS will largely be the same. This thread has had over 13,000 views, unknown how many of those views are recurring posters. There's what, 1,200,000 JWs in the US give or take. The equivalent of 1%(13,000) of the total poplulation of JWs in the States is showing concern over this change in understanding. Time will tell if this change will cause some serious ripples or not, but if history is any indicator of how this change might affect the organization, I'd gamble that there will be minimal damage.

One of the 144,000 from my old congregation

i always knew that he and his wife live in the same vicinity as i do now, (i've been in same apt for 23 years) and would occasionally see them in the neighborhood.

today i decided to go to a supermarket a few blocks away from me, but closer to where they live, so on the checkout line guess who was in front of me, i didn't say anything till we were both outside the store, he didn't recognize me of course, since the last time i saw them at the halli i was in junior high school.

after mentioning my parents names so he would remember me it finally kicked in, i asked him if they were still associated, because so many haven't been to the kh in decades but for some reason still consider themselves jws.

We do have a situation right now involving people re-marrying in the family and I'll leave it that as its not my place to spread their business on here although everybody in our circuit already knows. Plus it could potentially blow my cover. We'll just say they kept it in the family.

Ohio had all kind of stuff goin on the 80s Lol. That dude wanting two years of seperatio is right up there with the other infamous stories from Ohio, particulary the wife swapping and orgy situation which resulted in a ton of DFings.

My pop was telling me about brothers where I'm at would have wild parties and one night they had a huge house party and in basement people were watching pornos out in the open during the party. Elders and Ministerial Servants were present. I dont think anyone could away with that kind of stuff today, but the 80s must have been something else.

Considering the bloodshed throughout the Balkans which pretty much every religious group over there has had a share in, those people protesting JWs who dont have a history of instigating or participating in that area's history of bloodshed exposes those attackers for what they are, thugs. If I'm not mistaken, when this story popped off the media over there labeled the attackers as right wing nationalists. Stories like this illustrate , to me at least, the importance of the second amendment. Muh Fuggas will run all over you when they know you wont defend yourself.

i am not normally one to give opinion on movies, however i saw this christmas trailer the other night and it made me think (it's at the end of the trailer and spoken by jamie foxx (he is django).

A classic Spaghetti Western film reinterpreted with a Blaxploitation touch, talk about drawing two audiences with one film. I saw the trailer when I went to see Prometheus, I didnt personally feel it encourages racism. I was curious about the white people in the audience and was watching their reactions. Some of them I get the feeling were waiting to see how blacks in the audience would react before they'd show any signs of being interested in the film. Other whites seemed comfortable enough to laugh or show interest rgardless of what people who look like me think.
